Mon, June 12
Hiking in the Marin Headlands.
Tues, June 13
Zeum, art and technology tools that empower the imagination to create a clay animation, make a music video, compose a soundtrack, or experiment with digital art.
Wed, June 15
We explore GG Park; play games of all kinds: sports, nature games, non-competitive games, improvisational games; create science and art projects. For two hours we’ll volunteer with master gardener, Andy Stone, helping to maintain the gardens around Stow Lake. Andy is great fun, and a terrific teacher.

Kayak with Seatrek, overnight camp-out at China Camp State Park

Hiking in Pacifica

One of our most unusual and exciting tours is of the SF Recycling & Disposal, Inc.'s Solid Waste Transfer and Recycling Center. The 44-acre site is where most of San Francisco's garbage and recyclables are temporarily dumped before going to a landfill or recycling plant. These tours include a short presentation of "how to recycle" in San Francisco. At the transfer station, we visit artists working in the studio, the transfer station garbage pit, and the Artist In Residence Sculpture Garden. This tour requires closed toe comfortable walking shoes (no sandals).

Mon, August 28
Hiking in Tilden Park, swimming at Lake Anza
Tues, August 29

Fishermen’s Wharf, We’ll visit the historic Dolphin Club for a guided tour , and depending on the weather and the groups’ consensus we might swim at Aquatic Beach, visit the pier to fish and catch crabs, tour the historic boats at the Hyde St. Pier, visit Ghiradelli for a free chocolate sample, check out the free entertainment and visit the sea lions at Pier 39.
